Privacy Policy

At Kibbe Style (“we”, “us”), privacy isn’t an afterthought — it’s a design principle. This section explains, in plain language, what the Kibbe Body Type app does and does not collect. The short version: your photos never leave your phone, photo analysis runs entirely on your device, we collect no face or biometric data, and you don’t need an account to get your result.

Photo analysis (on-device) and face data

Kibbe Body Type does not collect, store, or transmit face data or any biometric identifiers. The optional Photo Analysis feature runs entirely on your device using Google ML Kit pose detection. It estimates non-identifying body proportions — the relative width of your shoulders and hips and your leg-to-torso ratio — from body landmark points (shoulders, hips, ankles). It does not perform face detection, facial recognition, or facial-geometry mapping, and it does not create a faceprint or template. Your photo is processed only on your device, is never uploaded to our servers or any third party, and the temporary image file is deleted immediately after the on-device measurement completes. The follow-up questions about facial features are self-assessment multiple-choice answers you tap; they analyze no image and capture no biometric data.

Information we store

Your quiz results, type history, saved outfits, and color season are stored locally on your device. We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication — a random, app-generated anonymous identifier not linked to your name or identity — and Cloud Firestore to maintain your credit balance for premium features. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location. Data is processed and stored on Google’s servers, which may be located in the United States.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We receive purchase confirmation to grant you credits — not your payment card details.

Analytics

Kibbe Body Type uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — for example, which screens are viewed, which features are used, and where you are in the purchase and credit funnel — so we can understand how the app is used and improve it. Firebase Analytics identifies your installation with a random, per-app identifier, not your name or identity, and this data is reported to us in aggregate.

Analytics events never include your body measurements, photos, quiz answers, or any name or email address — photo analysis stays entirely on-device as described above and is never sent as an analytics event. Analytics are not used for advertising and not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites; we do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or any advertising SDK.

No advertising, no selling data

We do not use advertising SDKs, we do not sell or share personal data for advertising, and — as described above — our analytics are aggregated and are not used for tracking or ad targeting.

Third-party processors

The app relies on a small number of reputable providers, each with its own privacy policy:

• Apple — app distribution and in-app purchases (privacy policy).
• Google Firebase — anonymous authentication, database (Cloud Firestore), Cloud Functions, and Firebase Analytics (anonymous, aggregated usage data) (Firebase privacy · Google privacy).
• RevenueCat — managing in-app purchases (privacy policy).

We do not share your information with advertisers, and we do not sell personal data.

Children’s privacy

Kibbe Body Type is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights and data requests

Most of your data lives on your device, so you can delete it at any time by clearing it in the app or uninstalling. Any anonymous credit record is kept only as long as needed to provide your purchased credits.

• Privacy-friendly analytics. We use aggregate, cookie-less analytics to understand overall traffic. These do not use tracking cookies and do not identify you individually.
• Email you send us. If you email us, we receive your message and email address solely to reply. We don’t add you to any marketing list.

The website does not require an account, does not run advertising, and does not sell or share personal data.

2. Cookies

The website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies are limited to what’s needed for the site to function. Our analytics are configured to work without identifying cookies.

3. Third-party services

• Cloudflare — hosting and privacy-friendly, aggregate web analytics for this website (privacy policy).

4. Data retention and deletion

Aggregate analytics are not tied to you and cannot be used to identify you. Emails you send are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

5. Your rights

GDPR & CCPA: if you are in the EU/UK or California, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing info@kibbestyle.com. Because the website holds little to no personal data, most requests can be honored immediately.
